More than a century ago, INTAN started as a small-scale glass applicator in Tangerang, then named INTAN Makmur. Now a local leader in glass processing, our core principle is to ensure our products improve the daily lives of people around the world.

From Humble Beginnings to One of the Leading Processing Company in Indonesia
When INTAN began in 1992, our founders’ core motive to start a glass applicator service is to find enough money to feed their family. However, something more important was fostered that first year:
The spirit of determination, grit and sincerity that forms the foundation of INTAN today.
Customer-oriented, focus to quality and product development produced success upon success over the years, eventually making INTAN the way they are.
1992: Humble Beginnings
INTAN Makmur was founded by a married couple in Tangerang, Indonesia as Window and Façade Applicator Service
1995: Manufacturing in the Making
Our founder invested in a mirror sputtering machine, and would historically opening us to a new industry
1998: Kendalindo Intan Kencana
INTAN Makmur established its first plant, and re-brand its name to Kendalindo Intan Kencana, leading to faster expansion.
1999: Reflective Glass
INTAN’s Reflective Glass became the company’s second exclusive product – and is currently the leading market share processor for Reflective Glass
2001: Expanding Product Portfolio through Imports
Our founder pioneered the possibilities for Indonesian’s to access Motive Glass.
2004: Laminated Glass
INTAN’s Laminated Glass became the company’s third exclusive product. Further increasing our product portfolio
2010: Intan Safety Glass
As global community become more safety conscious, our founder see the need to expand further to safety glass products. In doing so, our third plant was built specifically for it.
2011: Tempered Glass
In achieving our mission of providing safety, comfort and green governance, INTAN further expanded its product portfolio through Tempered Glass
2018: Insulated Glass Unit
In accordance to our non-stop ambition of providing a complete experience to our customers – INTAN Insulated Glass Unit is introduced
